Luigi Zingales: Biographical Snapshop

Luigi Zingales (Laurea in Economics at Boconni University, 1987, and Ph.D. in Economics at University of Chicago, 1992) is Robert C. McCormark Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance at the Graduate School of Business, University of Chicago. His main fields of research are Financial Markets, Corporate Finance and Growth. He has published a large number of important papers in top academic journals such as American Economic Review, European Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of Public Economics, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Rand Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Studies, etc. He is also the author (joint with R. Rajan) of the book Saving Capitalism from the Capitalists
(Random House, NY, 2003). He is a Research Fellow of the CEPR and a Faculty Research associate of the NBER.
